Brief Program Description:
In addition to church services, Niccolls offers movement and meditation courses as well as Arts and Crafts.
A Caring Giving Support Group meets bi monthly on Thursdays at 1:00 pm. Naomi Kelly leads QiGong Movement and Meditation courses. This 45-minute ancient practice of QiGong is offered Monday at 8am. Participants are welcome in the Fellowship Hall at Niccolls Church. Niccolls s an emergency food pantry open 24 hours located in the back entry way. A community garden is in the parking lot behind the church open to the public. Niccolls also offers space to the community. Location of Mission Boutique (Thrift Store). Partners with the Library and LivingADK.

SHARP (Senior Health and Recreation Program)

Brief Program Description:
Senior Health and Recreation Program is for independent seniors 65+.
It is a year-round program offering socialization and games.
The program is offered by the Town of Webb and it is free and open to
independent senior citizens in the Town of Webb. We meet at Niccolls Church every
Wednesday from 10am- 2pm and lunch is generously provided by the Town of Webb.
If a senior wants to come, but does not have a ride, we will try to arrange for one as long as
we are called far enough in advance (we suggest five days’ notice, but at least 24 hours in advance).
We do welcome people with special needs, as long as a caregiver accompanies them.

They do field trips locally and out of town.
The goal is living independently, there are some educational programs,
CPR classes, how to recognize signs of strokes and heart attacks, chair yoga,
staying physically fit, dog visits, visits with school kindergarten class, hikes, historic tour, etc.
Volunteers will call all SHARP members to give them something to look forward to each week.

Brief Program Description:  
The Healthy Kids Early Learning Centers offer programs for children 6 weeks of age to 4.5 years old.
While it isn't presently open for Town of Webb, we do offer before and after school care for school-aged children,
Kindergarten to Grade 5, in the Healthy Kids Extended Day Program.
These programs are specifically designed to meet the children's needs in all areas of development while viewing
the whole child which includes social, emotional, and cognitive needs.
Opportunities are provided for the children to explore their world through fine and gross motor activities,
songs, stories, finger plays, active and quiet times. Our teachers and assistant teachers develop warm,
caring, and supportive relationships with the children. What's most important to us
is that the children find Healthy Kids Centers a safe, happy and fun place to be.

The Community Health and Wellness Fund is directly involved in the maintenance and 
improvement of the healthcare provider and dental offices, including purchase of equipment
and support of the facility and personnel. 
They offer a scholarship program for graduating seniors,
alumni and area residents engaged in healthcare studies. 
 
The fund has also developed a healthcare provider recruitment 
and retention plan with  MVHS. The plan that provides financial support
to providers in return for a commitment of service at the Old Forge facility

The Firehouse is an emergency shelter with a generator.
There is an emergency call box in the ambulance. The department has a landing strip
behind Otter Lake Station for use as an emergency helicopter landing.
They have a fire boat for lake properties. They also offer CPR,
Boater Safety, and Driver Safety courses.

Meeting the emergency needs of the community by
providing emergency medical services from Stillwater to Woodgate. On duty Advanced Life Support personnel 24/7. Additional EMT's and volunteer drivers utilized. The Corps answers approximately 350-450 calls a year and now serves Big Moose with approximately 25-35 calls annually.

Brief Description:
Raquette Lake Ambulance Squad is a part of the all-volunteer Raquette Lake Fire Department. We believe our 76-mile ambulance transport to Utica is the longest in the state. Besides our ambulance we have a snowmobile and rescue sled. This provides vital emergency transportation during the winter.
Advanced life support providers from Inlet, Old Forge and Woodgate regularly hop on our “rig” to assist. We sincerely appreciate the efforts of the EMS squads in our neighboring communities.

CTS provides rides for elderly, disabled and disadvantaged persons in
need of and without access to transportation for medical, health and other necessary services.

Lessons are Monday-Friday and ends mid-August.
*New in 2022 – Winter Youth Staking Program for youth up to 18.
Starts in December. Volunteers will coach you with skating basics, figure skating and/or hockey.
*New in 2022 – Street Hockey Program for youth 4 – 16. Lessons will be one day a week, starts in May and goes until the end of June.

Brief Program Description:
Provides the following services: Beach, Adventure Day Camp, Kettle Bell,

Swim Classes, Junior Swim Club. Offers baseball, softball, flag football.
The Department of Health is involved with the Swim and Camp.

Brief Program Description:
Senior Health and Recreation Program is for independent seniors 65+.
It is a year-round program offering socialization and games. The program is offered by the Town of Webb
and it is free and open to independent senior citizens from Woodgate to Blue Mountain Lake.
We meet at Niccolls Church every Wednesday from 10am- 2pm and lunch is
generously provided by the Town of Webb. If a senior wants to come,
but does not have a ride, we will try to arrange for one as long as we are called far
enough in advance (we suggest five days’ notice, but at least 24 hours in advance).
We do welcome people with special needs, as long as a caregiver accompanies them.

They do field trips locally and out of town. The goal is living independently,
there are some educational programs, CPR classes, how to recognize s
igns of strokes and heart attacks, chair yoga, staying physically fit, dog visits,
visits with school kindergarten class, hikes, historic tour, etc.
Volunteers will call all SHARP members to give them something to look forward to each week.
